[REVIEW] WSL - Macaé Sports defeats Vôlei Futuro in the tie-break

The Macaé / Sports (RJ) has once again proven its willingness to great achievements in the Superleague Womens 10/11. On Monday (14/03) the team of the North Fluminense defeated Vôlei Futuro Araçatuba (SP) by 3 sets to 2 (23/25, 25/23, 25/19, 15/25 and 15/11) at the gym Municipal, in Macaé (RJ). The match was valid for the ninth round return.

The game on Monday should have happened on Sunday afternoon, but the match was canceled due to bad conditions of the court of the gym. With the situation normalized, the Macaé / Sports had the support of 1500 fans.

In the clash of monday evening, shone the star of Macaé's reserve setter Luiza, who replaced Camilla Adão since the second set and ended up being voted best on court taking home the trophy VivaVôlei. The outside hitter Gabriela from Macaé / Sports was the highest scorer of the match, alongside the opposite Joycinha from Vôlei Futuro, with 20 points. 

With the result the Macaé / Sports took fifth place in the standings with 34 points. The Vôlei Futuro are fourth with 35 points.

New challenges

The Macaé / Sports will face the second place, Sollys / Osasco (SP), Thursday (17/03), at the gym José Liberatti, in Osasco (SP). Already Vôlei Futuro
receive Sao Caetano (SP) also on Thursday at 20h, in the gym Plácido Rocha, in Araçatuba (SP).
