[REVIEW] MSL - VIVO Minas wins, Andre Nascimento surpasses 3,000 points and receives honor

Andre Nascimento is honored for reaching 3,000 points in Superliga

 

The VIVO Minas (MG) reached the seventh victory in 13 games for the 10/11 Superliga, defeating Fatima / Medquímica / Sogipa (RS) by 3 sets to 1 (25/21, 25/19, 23/25 and 25/16) in 1h53m, at the Arena VIVO in Belo Horizonte on Thursday (13.01). For the Olympic champion Andre Nascimento, the game was special. The attacker passed the mark of 3,000 points in the competition and received a tribute from his club.

Before the start of the game, André totaled 2,997 points in the competition. The historic mark was reached in the first set, when the player scored four points. In the intermission between the first and second partial, Canha, as is known, was honored. His wife, Thais, and the son, Kalel, which got its name because of Superman, came into court with a shirt commemorating the 3,000 points, handed over a plaque and congratulated the Olympic champion. The screen of the VIVO Arena, featured a photo of Andre Nascimento with his son on his lap. Both wore a Superman shirt, favorite character of Canha.


The next match of Vivo / Minas will be this Saturday (15.01), 17h, against Volta Redonda (RJ), in the gym of the Olympic Club in Belo Horizonte. At the same time, Fatima / Medquímica / Sogipa (RS) will face the Sada Cruzeiro (MG) in the gym Divino Braga in Betim.
