[REVIEW] MSL - Cimed defeats Pinheiros / Sky and maintains its leadership
After defeating the SESI-SP and reach the top of the standings in the Superleague Men's 10/11, the Cimed (SC) had another tough opponent ahead and away from home. And once again the defending champions of the competition walked away with the victory. In this SATURDAY (12.02), the team led by coach Marcos Pacheco defeated the Pinheiros / Sky (SP) by 3 sets to 1 (25/23, 25/23, 14/25 and 25/23) in the Henrique Villaboin gym in Sao Paulo.
With the victory, the Cimed stay top of the Super League. The highlight of the match was the outside hitter Renato. The attacker was voted best on court and received the trophy VivaVôlei.
The Cimed wont play next week and only return to court on Feb. 24, when will measure forces with Sao Caetano / Tamoyo (SP). The clash will be played in the gym Capoeirão in Florianopolis, at 20h.
The Pinheiros / Sky will play next THURSDAY (17.02). The Paulistas will travel to Porto Alegre, where will duel against Fatima / Medquímica / Sogipa (RS), at 20h, in the gym Sogipa.
