With the support of the fans who packed the gymnasium Poliesportivo do Riacho, in Contagem (MG), the Sada Cruzeiro (MG) went ahead in the Superliga 10/11 playoff quarter-final against Pinheiros / Sky (SP). On Tuesday (03/22), the Minas Gerais team defeated the Sao Paulo team by 3 sets to 1 (25/14, 21/25, 25/18 and 25/21) in the first game of series best-of-three.
With the result, Sada Cruzeiro is one victory away of reaching for the third consecutive year, the semifinals of the competition. The second duel of the clash will be next FRIDAY (25/03) in the gym Henrique Villaboin, São Paulo, 21h, with live broadcast by channel Sportv.
For the Pinheiros / Sky, the only victory matters. If necessary, the third match will be on SUNDAY (27.03), from 19h again in the the gym Riacho in Contagem.
