| Vôlei Futuro debuted with a victory in return |
In the first round, Medley / Campinas (SP) performed one of the surprises of the Superleague Men's Volleyball 10/11 when beating Vôlei Futuro (SP) by 3 sets to 2. On the evening of FRIDAY (21/1), the team from Araçatuba came into court willing to return their defeat in the first turn of the competition. In an inspired performance from setter Ricardinho, the Vôlei Futuro defeated Medley / Campinas by 3 sets to 0 (25/22, 25/19 and 25/20), at the gym Plácido Rocha in Araçatuba (SP).
The result helped Vôlei Futuro to recover in the table of the competition. With the victory, the team of Araçatuba went to sixth place overall with 23 points, eight wins and seven defeats. Already Medley / Campinas remained in tenth place with 21 points with six wins and nine defeats.
